Dissolving Magnesium Alloys for Downhole Applications
- Biodegradable material widely used in oil extraction and underground tools as sealed ball material
- Manufactured from soluble magnesium alloy for fracturing construction tools
- Self-ablates underground after completing work tasks, mixing with liquid for complete degradation
- Eliminates channel blockage issues, removing need for drilling recovery process
- Reduces project difficulty while improving construction efficiency
- Also used in sewage treatment plugging applications with high processing performance

WE Series Magnesium Alloys
High-strength casting alloys with magnesium base containing Gadolinium, Yttrium, Zinc and Zirconium. Suitable for temperatures up to 300°C (572°F) with excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Applications include helicopter transmissions, power systems, aero-engines, sports cars, and missiles.
